Thute had collapsed and was picked up from Karibot on 5 June 2021. Taken to AMC, he had an x-ray and was diagnosed with spondolitus – backbone problem. In addition, he had an infection with a high White Blood Cell count. After treatment with amoxyclav for the infection and given Gabapentin daily, he made a good recovery and was able to get up and walk around quite happily. Sadly, he experienced kidney failure and despite our help, did not recover and died in January 2022.
