A local man called Kate to a male pup, about 3 months old, that had probably been hit by a motorbike in June 2015. Suman was curled up in a ball, with a severely broken hind leg, and one foreleg lacerated to the bone. Dr Sushil performed amazing surgery, realigning the bones in the hind leg with 4 pins, and cross-stitching the flaps of skin together on the fore leg. Kate dressed Suman’s wounds daily, although he was ferociously afraid. Then he broke a foreleg while out with the adult dogs. After 5 months in care, he recovered fully. He is shy and friendly but must be contained as he has fragile bones. Suman was sponsored by Andrea from USA. He died on 30 July 2023.
