Raja was in poor condition just behind Boudhanath Stupa. Clearly not a street dog, he had been turned out of his home because of his condition. Taken in, cared for and treated and neutered he made a full recovery and was sponsored by Jessica Ontiverous from USA. Raja was adopted in May 2018 by Sunny and Niva – a gentle big dog, very easy to walk and a wonderful pet. Thanks to Help Animals India for covering his treatment costs.

Raja now fully recovered.
Raja has been adopted!
We are pleased to say that Raja has been adopted in May 2018 by a Nepali family that is clearly at home with big dogs! Sunny and Niva were both very relaxed with Raja and he was happy playing fetch a stick with Sunny! He also liked their car and marked his territory accordingly!
