Poppy and her sister were rescued in Gokarna on 13 June 2023 by Furba. Both badly malnourished with rickets – their front legs were hardly usable. Lovely affectionate girls, they made a good recovery with calcium supplements and some bandaging to help straighten the legs. Poppy’s sister has been adopted. Sadly, Poppy died suddenly and unexpectedly, with a mild temperature and slightly low PCV and Haemoglobin.
