Poppo was dumped at Boudhanath Stupa in early 2018. When he was found by our friend Kimberley, he was extremely emaciated, weak, and covered in ticks. Kimberley fed and treated Poppo at the stupa for worms and tick fever for several weeks. Although Poppo improved slightly, we decided it would be best to take him into the centre where he could be monitored, medicated and syringe fed. He was probably an owned dog and his owners did not know how to treat him. Poppo settled in well at the centre and lived out his life peacefully here.
