Nosey Baloo was huddled against the wall outside our gate in December 2018. A little black fluff ball afraid of the world. He had a damaged nose and the bone exposed. Not known if it was deliberate or the result of an accident. He was probably about 6 weeks old and taken into the shelter, he made good progress at first. Eating well and his nose partially healed over. At the end of March 2019, he was found to have a broken leg and started having seizures. He was put on medication for his seizures and epilepsy. Then he was going through mood swings on being aggressive and then very lethargic and sleepy, although he continued to eat well, before developing breathing problems and dying, probably from heart failure. Dr Sushil thought he had multiple problems that were probably congenital.
He was like a tiny teddy bear, with beautiful curly long hair. He was sponsored by Lucy and family from the UK who visited the shelter.
