Luri, a black adult dog, came into the centre in October 2014. He was brought in by a friend, who thought that he could not survive on the streets. He was very thin, hence his name “Luri”, meaning thin one. There was physically nothing really wrong with him, just that he was not getting enough to eat on the streets. Luri was a rather passive, lazy and unresponsive dog. He got on with other dogs, ate well, and seemed content. Luri died in January 2022.
