Chune was picked up in Chunnikhel on 13 June 2021. An old dog, he had turned up near Manu Tamang’s home. He was not known in the community so was probably an abandoned dog who just kept moving until he collapsed. An x-ray showed spinal deterioration, and his blood test showed low platelets and low PCV. He has been put on Doxycycline, iron supplement, multi-vitamins and Gabapentin. He started eating well and was able to stand. A gentle dog, he remained in care, until it became clear that he was going down and could not recover. He was euthanised on 8th March 2022. Thank you to Carmelina from Canada who sponsored him.
