Choma arrived on 23 May 2022 from Thamel suffering from mange and in poor condition. She was brought in by Dave Bethel from Canada who had just successfully climbed Mt Everest. Simba was found in Gokarneshwar in Septemebr 2023 with a maggot infected ear wound. This was slow healing and he had a sore ear for a long time. But now he is ok and may be returned to the location where he was found.
Radhe arrived from Paika on 22 November 2021 suffering what we thought to be an injury. However, an x-ray didn’t show a problem while a blood test showed a high white blood cell count. So, after treatment with antibiotic, he made a full recovery. He needs a forever home or a sponsor.

Poppy and her sister were rescued in Gokarna on 13 June 2023 by Furba. Both badly malnourished with rickets – their front legs were hardly usable. Lovely affectionate girls, they made a good recovery with calcium supplements and some bandaging to help straighten the legs. Poppy’s sister has been adopted. Raisa was found in Makalbari on 11 June 2023 with a fractured foreleg. Not surprisingly she proved a difficult catch, but now has had an x-ray and had her leg bandaged. We hope she settles into a new life in our centre. Sadly, she died on2 November 2023.
