Simal was rescued from Simaltar in poor condition on 30 June 2020. Blood test and distemper test were done and low platelets were found. Distemper was negative. He was returned to his area, but returned to the Centre and is still available for adoption or sponsorship. Castrated and vaccinated.
May 19 2024 Female Tara 2 was picked up in Paiyutar, Kapan following an accident and taken straight to AMC where she was tested for distemper – negative. No other issues were detected. Good food and care helped her make a full recovery. She is now a lovely active young lady spayed and vaccinated, and needs a home or sponsorship. …
Milan was picked up near the Kapan Police Station with a broken leg on 12 June 2024. Taken straight to the Animal Medical Centre where he was operated on and a plate inserted. Fully recovered, castrated and vaccinated, he needs a good home. Sponsorship would be welcome pending adoption
Suntali was rescued on 13 July 2024 from the street near the Centre with a leg fracture. A blood test showed no problems so good food and care was recommended. She has now been spayed and is an active lively dog.
Moona was rescued from near the Nepal Medical College in Gokarneshwor on 18 April 2024 and was clearly a distemper survivor – although he tested negative. He is making a very good recovery and the movement caused by distemper is reducing. He needs a sponsor as we can’t put him back on the street and is unlikely to be adopted. …
Bikrami was rescued from Makalbari on 3rd October 2024 after an accident and with a serious neck wound and unable to use his hind legs. Goru arrived in June 2023 with a burn on his back, a smallish white dog with a back leg problem but could walk. Low platelets and spondilitus diagnosed so on Doxycycline and liver tonic. Recovering but will need on-going treatment for spondilitus. Neemds a sponsor, probably not suitable for adoption.
Two lads brought Jojo to the centre on 25 September 2024 with a fractured leg. The leg was badaged at Animal Medical Centre and he came back to the centre to recover.
