Rokpa was brought to us by Sangye from near Ram Hiti on 9 July 2023, very matted hair with maggots, and was also found to have TVT. Now treated and much better, he will stay in the Centre unless adopted. We think he had been an owned dog and put out when he became sick.

Lopsang
Lopsang was rescued from Paika in Kapan on3 February 2024 suffering from a large tumur on his side. Taken straight to AMC he was operated on and the tumour removed. An old dog, we won’t put him back on the street and he can remain in the centre. He needs a sponsor.
Nicky
Nicky was found on 19 January 2024 with a broken leg and also overweight. Animal Medical Centre carried out a major operation inserting a steel plate to hold the leg bone in place. He has been returned to the street on 1st March 2024 and was welcomed back by the community.
Katu
Katu arrived on 15 February 2024 from KAT Centre with two damaged legs. On 9th March, Dr Sushil was preparing to carry out surgery on the front leg when it was noticed that he had distemper signs. Puppy Rina
Puppy Rina was picked up in Besigaon on 8 February 2024 with a significant tumour on his nose. Taken straight to AMC for a diagnosis, he was found to have Transmissable Canine Venereal Tumour. Josef
Josef was picked up in Naya Basti on 12 February 2024 with the typical symptoms of distemper. Taken straight to AMC, he tested negative for distemper. However, the strong symptoms indicated he had been infected and was in recovery. Kept isolated at our centre, he gradually got worse and had to be euthanized on 26 February 2024.
Pinky
Pinky was found near our new centre with a clear pronounced TVT and she has started on chemotherapy treatment. We expect her to fully recover and be able to go back to the street. After she had had two chemo injections and was due for her third, she was found to have died during the night. Dr thinks it may …
Narayani
Narayani was found in Narayantar, Gokarneshwar, on 20 November 2023 suffering from a head wound. Taken to AMC for a check up and treatment, she came into our rescue centre to recover. She was returned to her area two months later in good condition.
Bhai
Bhai was found on 9 February 2024 stuck in a drain with infected wounds on his legs. Rescued by Akriti from near Ani Gompa, he was taken straight to the Animal Medical Centre for a check up and treatment. Then taken to our rescue centre for care, he was returned to his area two weeks later.
Sete Pawan
Sete had a major plate inserted in his leg by Dr Sushil and AMC team. He came to us for recuperation before being sent to Soltis’ Hope in Bardia. He is available for adoption – a fine boy!
