Dolma

Dolma stayed at the CDWK centre while she underwent chemotherapy. Although from outside our area, as Palden was unable to find a safe place to keep Dolma while …
Some of our dogs have recently moved on
In the last month or so, a few of the dogs in our shelter have passed away. May they all rest in peace. Poppo succumbed to old age and a degenerative spinal condition. Dear, sweet Bruno, who was outside during the daytime, was found mysteriously dead by the side of the road at our driveway, with no injury whatsoever. We …

Tommy
A British Lass found Tommy, a sad young male with mange, hanging around her guesthouse. He was not faring well on the streets. He seemed to have been an owned dog, possibly a guard dog, who had been dumped. Tommy was brought to the shelter where he was treated for mange and “tick-borne erlichia cannis” infection. When he recovered and …
Suzy
Suzy was found by Kate on the street wandering along looking thoroughly lost. A sad little pup, 2-3 months of age, looking very scruffy with malnutrition and mange. Kate thought that Suzy would not survive for long, so Suzy was bundled into the taxi. After a week of good food the mange receded and she is now active and clearly …
