Special Care Dogs
We have a number of dogs who require special ongoing care. These dogs include those who are very old, plus those with disabilities or chronic illness. These dogs usually require daily medication and treatment.
Special care dogs are not well-suited to general adoption. However, adoption could be possible for a dog-lover who is dedicated to giving these dogs a stable home in which they can provide the dog with special love and ongoing care and treatment. Special care dogs may be adopted locally or internationally to the right home.
Several of the special care dogs are sponsored but others still require a sponsor to cover their daily food and vaccinations – at a cost of US$20 / month (for more information on sponsorship.
