Kale Suman first came to our shelter for treatment of a neck wound on 8 January 2022.
When he recovered, he was returned to the street, but promptly turned back up again! Return-attempt number 2 occurred, but once again Suman made it clear that the shelter was where he wanted to be – and he injured his leg trying to break in overnight. We realised that he was with us to stay!
Being such a big dog means that he can stir up a lot of energy amongst the others, so he’s a very noticeable presence in the shelter. He has now been neutered. We are going to try again to return him to his place.
