On the 17th of June 2021, we rescued Pichu as she was brought to our attention by Jyoti in Simaltar. She displayed obvious symptoms of distemper, such as regular and uncontrollable ‘twitching’ movements. Luckily, we did two tests at AMC and both were negative, so she must have had distemper and been one of the luckily 5% that survive! She was vaccinated and spayed, and lived full time at the shelter so we could care for her. Sadly, she died unexpectedly on 23 June 2022. Thank you to Carmelina for sponsoring Pichu.
