Khairi was brought to the centre on 28 June 2021 suffering from an injured foot. An x-ray showed no broken bones so she has had her foot bandaged and it is healing. But she also had a persistent cough and Dr Sushil thought she may have fluid in the lungs. So she has been treated with Lasix to reduce the water content. We think she is not suitable to go back on the street. She is being sponsored by Sarah in the USA.
