Harku is a local street dog who we spayed during one of our early spay programmes several years ago. Recently she had a bad accident and a leg was badly broken. To repair the leg, Dr Sushil carried out a major operation and inserted a steel plate. As she was limping again and not using her leg, we did another x-ray to find the plate has bent and the bone fused around it. We are now keeping her in our centre to monitor and decide later on if another operation is needed. Harku died on 10 December 2020.
