Jigme, Yeshe and Chokyi, three small terrier pups, were dumped at CDWK’s doorstep one evening in December 2016. Kate tried to pursue the owner so she could spay the mother dog, but to no avail. The threesome were very hungry and malnourished. Yeshe a black female, could not stand or walk as her front legs were so weak and deformed that she could not carry her own weight. Despite calcium supplements and splinting, the legs were too deformed to repair, so she remains a bow-legged but active girl. She is a wistful, gentle dog who loves people. She would make an excellent house dog, even in a small garden or apartment. Yeshe is sponsored by Christiane.
Jigme, her handsome grey and white brother, was recently adopted by a Nepalese family. Chokyi, another male, was adopted by a Scottish-Nepali couple, and has recently moved with the family to Sri Lanka.
