In January 2018, Hagigo and his blue-eyed sister were brought to us by a local boy when they were just balls of fluff, maybe one month old. Boiling water had been deliberately poured over their backs and they both had terrible wounds. It took quite a long time for the wounds to heal. A Taiwanese lady saw pictures of the pups at a market stall and asked to adopt the female. As the two had grown up together, we requested that she adopt the pair. The pups then lived and grew up in a guesthouse in Boudha. But the pups grew bigger than expected and became too boisterous for the guests so Hagigo was brought back to the CDWK centre to live when he was about 8 months old. He is a noble dog, who gets on well with both dogs and people. He has a wonderful coat and conducts himself with such bearing. Sadly, Hagigo died suddenly on 29 September 2021.
