Bruce

Bruce was brought to our attention by Narayani and Gaurab at Simaltar.  He was one of several community dogs that they keep an eye on. He had a bone tumour on his right front leg.  Dr Sushil removed the leg in a 2.5 hour operation and Bruce has recovered wonderfully and was running on three legs in days. Now neutered, he is still a tough street dog! He is available for adoption.  Thanks to Help Animals India for sponsoring his initial treatment and care.

Bruce has been fully vaccinated and neutered as he tended to be aggressive with other male dogs. With people, he is friendly and demands affection. He loves walks in the nearby fields. Bruce would be suitable for adoption into a home with no male dogs.

Sadly, Bruce died on 20 June 2023. He had a good six years with us.

Thank you Ashmita for sponsoring the three-legged warrior, Bruce.
